…don’t worry: the machines are taking over.
Actually, I had some corrupted data on my website and decided to rebuild the whole thing last night. It took about five hours to reassemble all the pieces, but I wanted a clean install to make sure none of the damaged code remained.
So if you receive blog updates via email, I apologize if you got a few messages about a promotion for The Lookout from Fourth of July last year. I subscribe to my own updates in order to catch anomalies like this.
Either way, I’ve determined that I need a more streamlined website. There are far too many moving parts to reassemble if this ever happens again. Here’s to hoping it won’t.
