Before I ever considered writing novels, I was a screenwriter. I began working on movie sets in high school, which quickly translated into my early days as a filmmaker. I won a Scriptwriters Network Fellowship when I was 18, and now I split my writing time between fiction and screenplays. Here are some features from my portfolio.
Three Card Monte
Comedy
Just released from prison, con man Monte Berman plans to reunite with his teenage daughter and cash out the diamonds hidden in his house. That’s when he finds his old boss wants the jewels and his sister-in-law has turned his home into a convent. But first, he must remember where he stashed the loot.
The Last Night
Drama, adapted from my novel
THE LAST NIGHT is about two best friends: one wants to kill himself, the other bargains for a week to change his mind.
